Granite is gorgeous as a natural stone. It’s one of the most heat-resistant countertops on the market, and since it’s a rock that comes from magma, it solidifies and resists over 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. It won’t scratch easily, just very few minerals can scratch it.

It’s rare to get a crack on your countertop with granite as material, but do not worry about it, it can be repaired with epoxy color matched and it is going to be invisible.

Granite requires little maintenance; after applying the sealer on the surface of your countertop you won’t need to reapply it in at least five or ten years.

As a porous material, liquids left over it for a long time will be absorbed and they will evaporate on their own without the use of chemicals or cleaning products.
